
Many service enhancements, efficiencies and functionality are in store as we convert to a new core processing system this fall. Core processing is the engine that drives almost all Credit Union activities, from taking deposits and loan payments to debit transactions. Among the upgrades will be new Internet, mobile and phone banking platforms to make it easier than ever to do business with CFCU.

As the conversion moves forward, we’ll provide updates in future newsletters and other Credit Union communications under this “CU at the next level” logo. It’s our goal to keep you informed, particularly regarding aspects of the new system that affect you.
What you need to know about our
new core processing system
Q. Will I be able to access my account info via Home Banking or Phone Access Line (PAL) during conversion weekend?
A. No, Home Banking and PAL will be off-line to complete the conversion process on Friday, October 28th. We suggest you print out your balance information prior to this date if you need this information during conversion. These features should be back up and running by Tuesday, November 1st. Q. Will my account number(s) change?
A. No, your account number(s) will remain the same.
Q. Will I need new checks and debit card?
A. No, your current checks and debit card(s) will still be good —there will be no need for new ones.
Q. My direct deposit is scheduled for October 31st. Will these funds make it into my account? Do I need to complete a new direct deposit authorization with my employer after conversion?
A. Your funds will be direct deposited as scheduled. And you will not need to complete any new paperwork.
Q. What if I have problems logging in or accessing my account after conversion?
A. Our Call Center will have extended hours from Monday, October 31 through Saturday, November 12 to assist you. The Call Center will be available Monday–Friday from 7am–8pm and Saturday from 9am–2pm. We will be closed Friday, November 11 for Veterans’ Day.
Q. Is there anything else I need to know?
A. We’re excited about this upgrade and the potential it offers.
